Our History

A family-run business since its inception, Fastamps was purchased by Peter and Sandy Blom in 2000. At that time, Fastamps was housed in a very small shop on South Fraser Way in west Abbotsford. It did not take long for the business to grow, and they needed to be relocated to their current location in historic downtown Abbotsford. When Peter and Sandy decided to retire and travel North America in their 5th wheel, their son Alfred assumed ownership of the business in 2008. Over the years, we have taken great pleasure in being part of the restoration of the Historic Downtown and the beautification projects that occurred. In 2016, our building was beautifully renovated by Algra Bros. Development, who also erected the beautiful Flatiron building and improved our stretch of South Fraser Way.

Fastamps is an active community entity, being a member of the Chamber of Commerce since 2012, as well as an active member of the Abbotsford Downtown Business Association. It continues to be our privilege to serve Abbotsford & the rest of the Fraser Valley.

Passion

There are few things more satisfying than seeing a customer’s eyes light up when we have turned their vision into a reality. There is an artistry in bringing something alive through something as simple as laser engraving. Whether it’s a unique item for a baby’s christening, or a plaque to commemorate someone’s retirement after decades of hard work and dedication, the privilege of being able to partner with you to create unique and memorable items fuels us.
